At the same legal shade, ceramic turns away more heat than carbon. Infrared ceramic turns away the most, at $479 to $649 for a full car against $379 to $499 for ceramic.

How Dark You Can Tint in Eugene, Oregon
On a car, each side and rear window needs film that passes at least 50 percent of light and reflects no more than 13 percent, and the glass with the film on must still pass at least 35 percent. All three numbers come from ORS 815.221 and apply in Eugene the same as anywhere in Oregon.
