Springfield, Oregon Body Shop Serving Eugene

Auto Body and Collision Repair Services

Blue Rose Auto repairs collision and body damage on every make, from bumpers, dents and scratches to paint matching, structural damage and insurance claims. Our ASE-certified technicians do the work in our Tesla Approved Body Shop at 3436 Olympic St in Springfield, Oregon, for drivers across Eugene and Lane County.

Our Auto Body and Collision Repair Services

We repair damage from a hard crash and from everyday knocks on cars, trucks, SUVs and electric vehicles. Each range below is typical for 2026.

01

Bumper, Fender and Door Damage Repair

Bumpers, fenders and doors take most low-speed hits. We repair and refinish a scuffed or cracked bumper cover, typically for $300 to $900. When the cover is torn or the reinforcement bar behind it is crushed, we replace it for $900 to $2,500 before parking sensors add to the bill.

02

Dent, Scratch and Scuff Repair

We work door dings, shopping-cart dents and creased body lines back into shape and refinish them, typically $300 to $1,200 per dent, and replace a panel stretched too far to save. A light scuff often polishes out with paint correction. A scratch in the clear coat runs $150 to $300, and one down to bare metal reaches $800.

03

Paint Matching and Refinishing

We mix paint to your factory color code and blend it into the neighboring panels, so the repaired area reads the same color in direct sun. A single door or fender typically costs $500 to $1,200 to refinish.

04

Frame and Structural Damage Repair

Uneven panel gaps, a door that will not latch and a pull to one side all point to moved structure. We check the frame rails, pillars and mounting points against factory dimensions and repair the structure to the manufacturer's procedure, typically $600 to $10,000 or more.

05

Tesla and EV Collision Repair

Blue Rose Auto is a Tesla Approved Body Shop, so we repair Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X bodies to Tesla's structural and cosmetic standards. Other EVs get their maker's high-voltage safety steps. Electric cars cost more to fix, so we price each one after inspection.

06

Insurance Claim Repairs

We send our estimate to your adjuster, file a supplement when hidden damage turns up, and bill the carrier directly. You pay your deductible, and Oregon law lets you choose the body shop that does the work.

The right repair depends on what the inspection finds. We price it after we look.

Why a Car Needs Real Collision Repair After an Accident

A driver backs into a pole at parking-lot speed, sees a cracked bumper cover and expects a new cover and some paint. When we pull the cover off, the foam absorber is crushed, the reinforcement bar is bent and a sensor bracket has snapped. That is common. A bumper cover is plastic trim over the parts that actually take the hit.

We inspect behind the visible damage before we write the estimate. A crash most often affects these areas, and we check each one.

  • Wiring and connectors behind the panels
  • Frame and unibody mounting points
  • Suspension parts such as control arms and tie rods
  • Paint and the clear coat that protects it
  • Safety sensors, cameras and their brackets

A car fixed only on the surface can look right and still drive unevenly or wear a tire on one edge.

What Should You Do After a Collision in Oregon?

Get everyone safe, document the scene, and report the crash if Oregon law requires it.

  1. Move to safety. Turn on your hazards, move out of traffic if the car still drives, and call 911 if anyone is hurt.
  2. Take photos. Photograph every damaged panel, both plates and the road.
  3. Exchange information. Trade names, phone numbers and insurance details with the other driver, and get the names of any witnesses who stopped.
  4. Report the crash when it meets the threshold. Under ORS 811.720, file an Oregon DMV accident report within 72 hours if anyone is injured or killed, if your vehicle has more than $2,500 in damage, if any vehicle has more than $2,500 in damage and any vehicle is towed, or if other property has more than $2,500 in damage.
  5. Call your insurer. Open the claim.
  6. Choose your body shop. Oregon law lets you pick the shop, so you can book an inspection with Blue Rose Auto even when the insurer suggests another one.
  • 5
File a DMV report within 72 hours if the crash meets Oregon's rule
  • 5
Photograph the damage before the cars move
  • 5
Choose your own body shop under ORS 746.280

What to Bring When You Open a Claim

  • Your claim number and the adjuster who handles it
  • Photos of the damage you took at the scene
  • The DMV accident report, if you filed one
  • The other driver's insurance details when they caused the crash

Can Your Insurance Company Choose Your Body Shop in Oregon?

No. Under ORS 746.280, an Oregon insurer cannot require you to take your car to a particular body shop. Your adjuster can recommend one, but the choice is yours, and you can bring the car to Blue Rose Auto.

We work directly with insurers. We send our written estimate to your adjuster, you pay your deductible, and your insurer pays the rest of the approved repair.

How Do Collision Repair Estimates Work?

We write a collision estimate after we inspect the car in person, and it lists every part, labor hour and paint material on its own line. Phone photos miss the bent brackets and cracked absorbers hiding behind a bumper cover.

Your insurer may write its own estimate first, often from photos alone, and when ours differs we send it to your adjuster with our photos and the repair procedure behind each line. That first figure is a starting point.

What Happens If More Damage Is Found During Repair?

We stop and document it. Once a car comes apart, we often find damage nobody could see at the first inspection, such as a cracked headlamp mount or a kinked rail.

We photograph the new damage, write a supplement and send it to your insurer before we do the extra work. Typically the insurer approves it or sends an adjuster to look. If it moves your finish date, we call you, and on a repair you pay for yourself you get the new price before we continue.

How Collision Repair Works at Blue Rose Auto

  1. You book an inspection or call us. Tell us what happened, your year, make and model, and whether a claim is open.
  2. We inspect the damage. We look behind the bumper cover and panels, check the structure after a hard hit, and write the estimate from what we find.
  3. We work with your insurer. We send the estimate to your adjuster and handle any supplement.
  4. We repair the structure and panels. We repair or replace the structural parts that moved, following the manufacturer's procedure, then hang the panels and check every gap.
  5. We refinish and blend the paint. We match your factory color code and blend the new paint into the neighboring panels.
  6. You pick up the car under warranty. The 3-year/36,000-mile warranty starts that day, and our detailing team can clean the car inside and out before you collect it.

What Does Collision Repair Cost?

Most collision repairs cost $500 to $4,500, and major structural damage runs $4,500 to $10,000 or more. These typical 2026 ranges come from published body-shop cost data, and we give you the exact number in a written estimate after we inspect the car. The average repairable claim nationwide runs $4,818, according to the 2026 CCC Crash Course.

Repair Typical range
Minor collision damage $500 to $1,500
Moderate collision damage $1,500 to $4,500
Major structural damage $4,500 to $10,000 or more
Bumper repair and refinish $300 to $900

An EV, an aluminum panel or a bumper with sensors behind it usually pushes a repair toward the high end of its range.

Related Repairs After a Collision

Blue Rose Auto does mechanical repair and body work in the same Springfield building, so crash damage that reaches the engine bay or the wheels stays with us. Whether your car needs any of this depends on what the inspection finds.

Mechanical Inspection and Diagnostics

A front hit can crack a radiator or bend an A/C condenser. Our mechanics trace the warning lights and leaks that follow.

Steering and Suspension Repair

Corner hits bend tie rods, control arms and struts. We replace them so the car tracks straight again.

Wheel Alignment

Light impacts knock wheels out of line. A car that pulls wears one edge of its tires early, so we align the wheels after suspension work.

Paint Protection Film

Fresh paint chips as easily as the original. We can cover repaired panels with clear film once the paint cures.

Auto Detailing

Sanding dust and airbag residue end up inside a car after a crash repair, so our detailing team vacuums the interior, wipes down the dash and washes the paint before you pick the car up.

Car, Truck and EV Makes We Repair After a Collision

We repair domestic, Japanese, Korean, European and electric vehicles, and each make brings its own materials and sensors.

Toyota

Toyota Safety Sense mounts a radar behind the front emblem on many models, so we check that mount after a front hit.

Honda

Civic, Accord and CR-V quarter panels are welded to the body rather than bolted on, so we repair them in place whenever the metal allows.

Subaru

EyeSight cameras sit at the top of the windshield, and all-wheel drive makes straight subframe measurements matter.

Nissan

Rogue and Pathfinder models with Around View carry cameras in the grille and side mirrors.

Mazda

Mazda3 and CX-5 bodies use high-strength steel in the pillars and rails, so a bent part there is often replaced rather than reshaped.

Lexus

Many Lexus colors are multi-layer pearls that take more than one coat stage to match.

Ford

The F-150 body went from steel to aluminum for 2015. Its dents repair differently.

Chevrolet

Newer Silverado 1500s pair aluminum doors, hood and fenders with a steel bed.

GMC

Sierra trucks can carry the CarbonPro carbon-fiber bed, which cracks instead of denting.

Ram

Ram 1500 and 2500 trucks sit on a full frame, so we check the frame rails after a rear hit.

Jeep

The Wrangler bolts its body to a steel frame, while the Grand Cherokee is a unibody.

Hyundai

The Ioniq 5 runs an 800-volt battery system, so we follow Hyundai's high-voltage safety steps before any body work.

Kia

The electric EV6 shares its platform with the Ioniq 5, while the Telluride and Sportage are gas crossovers.

BMW

Many 3 Series, X3 and X5 model years use aluminum hoods and front fenders.

Mercedes-Benz

C-Class and GLC models carry a radar sensor behind the star emblem in the grille.

Audi

The A4 and Q5 use an aluminum hood. Aluminum does not reshape like steel.

Volkswagen

The electric ID.4 carries its battery pack in the floor, unlike the gas Jetta and Tiguan.

Tesla

We repair Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X bodies as a Tesla Approved Body Shop.

Tesla Approved Body Shop for Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X

Blue Rose Auto is a Tesla Approved Body Shop. Tesla sets the training, tools and repair procedures an approved shop must follow, and we repair structural and cosmetic damage on Tesla vehicles to those standards.

Electric cars cost more to repair after a crash. Mitchell's Q2 2026 data puts the average repairable claim at $5,684 for battery-electric vehicles against $4,955 for gas cars, so a Tesla estimate usually lands above our typical ranges. Aluminum structure and large one-piece castings are part of the reason.

Auto Body and Collision Repair Questions

What is the difference between auto body repair and collision repair?

Collision repair fixes damage from an accident, including the structure, suspension and safety systems behind the panels. Auto body repair is the broader bodywork on dents, scratches, panels and paint, whether or not a crash caused it. Blue Rose Auto does both in the same shop.

How much does collision repair cost?

Minor collision damage typically costs $500 to $1,500, moderate damage $1,500 to $4,500, and major structural damage $4,500 to $10,000 or more. We give you the exact price in a written estimate after we inspect the car.

How soon should I get my car inspected after an accident?

As soon as you can. Hidden damage behind a bumper cover can get worse, and a bent suspension part can wear a tire within weeks. An early inspection keeps a small repair from growing into a bigger one.

Does collision insurance cover major damage?

Collision coverage pays to repair your car after it hits another vehicle or an object, minus your deductible, up to the car's actual cash value. When the repair cost nears that value, your insurer may declare the car a total loss instead. A deer strike usually falls under the other-than-collision part of the policy.

How long does collision repair take?

A bumper or single-panel repair often takes a few days, and structural repairs can run two weeks or longer. Parts availability, hidden damage, insurer approval of supplements and paint cure time set the schedule, and we give you a time estimate with the price.

Can you match my factory paint color?

Yes. We mix the paint to your car's factory color code and blend it into the neighboring panels, which hides small differences in how the original paint has aged. Pearl and three-stage colors take extra coats.

What warranty comes with a collision repair?

Every collision repair carries our 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, and it covers structural work, panels and paint alike.

Do you replace windshields or auto glass?

No. Blue Rose Auto does not do auto glass. When a crash breaks a windshield, a glass shop replaces it, and we repair the body and paint.

Book a Collision Inspection and Get Your Written Estimate

Tell us what happened and your year, make and model. We inspect the structure behind the damage, send the estimate to your insurer, and back the finished repair with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

I had an amazing experience with Blue Rose!! They fixed my bumper in less than 2 hours and I was surprised with such an affordable price. My car looks brand new. The team is super friendly and efficient and as someone who doesn’t know much about cars, I felt safe and wasn’t worried about being lead astray. This is the only place I will go for body work.

I had a great experience with the people at Blue Rose today. My Subaru was scratched on the rear bumper by someone in a parking garage. My mechanic told me to go to them first and have them take a look at it. They gave me options and ultimately at no charge using a special lacquer mixture were able to remove 80%-90% of the white paint that had transferred on to my bumper. I appreciate the honest straight forward no pressure helpfulness. I now plan to return to have them look at another one of my vehicles.

I recently took my car to Blue Rose Auto to have my rear bumper repaired and repainted, along with a full detailing, and I couldn't be more impressed. They managed to complete the entire job—bumper repair, paint match, and detailing—in just two days. Despite the quick turnaround, the quality of the work is top-tier. The paint match is perfect, and the bumper looks brand new. The detailing was the cherry on top; the car looks fantastic inside and out. Huge thanks to the team for the great communication and professional service. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend them to anyone!

I took my 2024 brz to blue rose after getting rear ended. My left quarter panel, bumper, trunk, and some metal inside had been crushed and damaged. I got the car back and it looks brand new, you couldn't even tell it had been hit. They definitely did an outstanding job!
